Tulum, Quintana Roo and Chitzen Itza, Yucatan

Ik Kil Cenote, which was right outside of the Chitzen Itza ruins. Some swimming and jumping occurred.

Chichen Itza ruins, which were about a two hour drive from our hut in Tulum.

I don't know what these are, but I couldn't help myself.

The beach of Tulum.

The Tulum Ruins, which were overrun by....

these little guys.

The ruins of Limon, which were basically in someone's front yard in the small village of Limon.

This little guy was hanging out in Bacalar at the lagoon where we ate lunch.

Our trip began in Mexico City and here were some photos taken with our Nikon D-60 camera. It was an amazing city with even more amazing food. Tacos on every corner.

The above pictures were taken in Chapultepec Park and Chapultepec Castle

Restaurante Los Manantiales in Xochimilco by architect, Felix Candela.

The floating gardens of Xochimilco, for a day filled with boats, cerveza, mariachi bands, and of course tacos.

The Frida Kahlo house, which we didn't actually go inside, but we did explore the San Angel neighborhood, which was beautiful.

and it will be a while more after this...

I did some t-shirt designs for Small But Mighty Arts Grant, which I entered into their contest for a small grant. It would be fantastic to have help purchasing all the materials I go through!

And it's finally here! Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Mexico City, for Spring Break. If you need me, I will be at Senor Tadpoles having a margarita made in my mouth!!
